Simon Read Plots & Plans
I have always considered drawing to be a means of coming to grips with an idea on the assumption that if I can generate a satisfactory graphic solution, there is a chance that I shall also have reached a more satisfactory grasp of its subject.
More recently I have become preoccupied by the immediacy of our environmental predicament. Living on the Suffolk Coast, this has become a real presence in daily life. Drawing is a way into this debate for me and through it I feel able to negotiate the huge range of specialist data that might otherwise reduce me to a sense of impotence.
